Given a Choice: Would you rather Know about the True God or Not at all regardless of what the outcome may be?

No Goofy Answers Please.Given a Choice: Would you rather Know about the True God or Not at all regardless of what the outcome may be?
If there is one true God. Then yes, even if I was wrong.

The truthGiven a Choice: Would you rather Know about the True God or Not at all regardless of what the outcome may be?
truth and nothing but the true God Jehovah
Sure! I found out about the TRUE God, when I put down the man made religion, and started reading the Bible, and the Bible only.

You have to be able to know who God is in order to share the gospel with others..dontyathink?

I chalange you to research the religion that you have dedicated your soul to to make sure of ALL things.....You have much work to do, ny friend, and you will be in my prayers.

I wonder how long before your friends have this harmless answer taken down, because they are afraid of me...silly.

P.S. I have always had a respect for you, you seem to have always treated me in a courtious way and I would like to thank you....We don't agree on anything, but that is OK.
I would always rather know the truth.
Yes, Sir !! That's why I accepted Jesus as my Saviour many years ago!! You're invited, too!!
I would rather know
I would rather know the truth. Not which god, but if there is a god.
I sure want to know the truth about God. You can tell me what you have!
I would want to and do know the true God and wouldn't change it for the world for sooo many reasons!
I would want to know about the true God, of course! It would be self destructive of me to close my mind and refuse to see the truth...Blessings!
Always the true God Jehovah. I did serious reseach before making up my mind to be identified with Jehovah's Witnesses. I researched encyclopedias, dictionaries, Etc. For example the truth I learned about holidays, convinced me Jehovah Witnesses have the truth.
I would rather know the True God (if there is even one). He or She or It has to prove himself to be a god and worthy of worship too.
If there were truly a god, of course I'd want to know about it.
This deal is not like the Matrix, where it's the blue pill or the red pill.

On some level we all know the truth.
Know the true God.

Atl east then you have followed the Bible and have avoided many problems.

But either way, I know the true God Jehovah so I am not worried.=]
Anyone would be a fool not to want to know the truth, especially such an important truth that could impact our eternal destiny.

  • True Story, what do you think of the outcome?

    Subject: WELL DONE B A

This scene took place on a BA flight between Johannesburg, South Africa and London, England. A white woman, about 50 years old, was seated next to a black man.

Obviously disturbed by this, she called the air hostess.

';You obviously do not see it then?'; she said.

';You placed me next to a black man. I do not agree to sit next to someone from such a repugnant group. Give me an alternative seat.'; ';Be calm please,'; the hostess replied.

';Almost all the places on this flight are taken. I will go to see if another place is available.'; The hostess went away and then came back a few minutes later.

';Madam, just as I thought, there are no other available seats in the Economy Class. I spoke to the captain and he informed me that there is also no seat in the Business Class.

    All the same, we still have one place in the First Class.';

Before the woman could say anything, the hostess continued.

    ';It is not usual for our company to permit someone from the Economy Class to sit in the First Class. However, given the circumstances, the captain feels that it would be scandalous to make someone sit next to someone sooo disgusting.';

    She turned to the black guy, and said, ';Therefore, Sir, if you would like to, please collect your hand luggage, a seat awaits you in First Class.';

At that moment, the other passengers, who'd been shocked by what they had just witnessed, stood up and applauded.

    This is a true story.

WELL DONE, British AirwaysTrue Story, what do you think of the outcome?
What you have here is an urban legand and not true. Sorry.

http://www.snopes.com/travel/airline/obn鈥?/a>True Story, what do you think of the outcome?
I'm amazed that even after I posted a link proving the story untrue that people continued to believe it. It would have been a great story...if it were true.

ha-pity they couldn't have put her sitting on the wing. mightve blown away some of them predigests
Brilliant story... if only more people were like the staff of BA this world would be a much better place!
yeah well done that showed her
Well done British Airways. I have been on the other side where as a white person I have been made to feel uncomfortable when I do not have a racist bone in my body however I think a parachute would not have been good enough for this lady. Thank for the story and it is heartwarming to read the majority of answers show that we are an accepting nation and ready to defend no matter what colour or creed.
Absolutely brilliant. I love it. Well done BA
That's what I call SERENDIPITY! YES!!!
    Frickin' Awesome.
    Loved the story! Thanks!
    Bullsh**!
What you people don't see is that BA did what this woman wanted them to. Although the gentleman in question got moved to first class this woman got she wanted to. She never asked to be moved to first class, she just asked to be seated away from the black man so if this is a true story it just shows BA are racist by pandering to this woman.
That's brilliant, it's about time someone put these raciest people in their place. I also say Well Done B .A. !! xx
Nice story, but smacks of an Urban Legend me thinks.
well done British airways she should of got a verbal telling off by them.
    Splendid!
    Love that!
It is indeed comforting to know that staff of BA is not racist and staff of BA also make an effort to stand up against racism.

    Well done BA!
nice one i hate stuck up racist people!
That is great! Wish there were more stories like it.
Nice little bit of irony, huh?
that is a great story, i hope it is true because black south africans have had such an awful time through apartheid.
    Aye, well said and done.
awesome i have goose bumps that made my day thanks for sharing that beautiful story god knows nothing nice ever happens on the news thank you so much
    Love it!
    That's briliant. Stupid woman.
Wonderful:) This just made my day!
    That was so moving.
    It's great. Very smexy! xxx
    love it its great
I am proud to be a black.

greybeard ur way too cooooooooooooooool mannnnnnnnn.......

from now on British airways is my official air liner
The most wonderful story I have heard for a long time! Thanks. I am only very surprise that I haven't read the report on a newspaper.

Poeple say: If you don't vote, you can't complain about the outcome. I think this is only half true. Thoughts?

I think it's worse to vote ignorantly than to not vot at all. I think many people vote ignorantly %26amp; thats the biggest problem with voting. Some vote because their friends or family say your stupid if you don't, so what do you do? You vote mindlessly just so you can say you voted %26amp; in essence, most likely voting for a team you don't even agree with but didn't know enough to realize that. You helped the wrong team. At that moment you really ARE the problem %26amp; can't complain because you voted ignorantly.

Some people vote one way only because their familiy says so. Some vote for one side only on heresay %26amp; rumors about the parties to vote for. %26amp; some people pick on those who didn't vote to make them feel bad enough to talk them into voting for their team, which is selfish.

I think one should vote only after they've taken the time to know what they stand for %26amp; about who their voting for, %26amp; that sometimes takes time %26amp; much effort. You shouldn't vote just because.

Thoughts?Poeple say: If you don't vote, you can't complain about the outcome. I think this is only half true. Thoughts?
I think it is a civic duty for every American citizen to vote. But you are very right that an ignorant vote may defeat your own purpose, because when you randomly vote for anyone on the ballot that somehow seems at the moment to possibly be the better choice, even though you know absolutely nothing about that persons history or views, you may actually help elect someone who does not have your best interest in mind. Even voting blindly straight down for one particular party, but you really don't know if some of them do not represent you political views, you may be making a mistake.

Having said that, I urge that all Americans start caring to research the candidates before any election and become INFORMED and there fore be an informed voter for a better America. I am Republican because I believe in Republican values in general, and I vote mostly Republican, but I will vote Democrat or Independent or Green, too, if I like that candidate better for his or her voting history or moral outlook over the Republican alternative. I voted for Bush and I stand by him now even when there is so much Bush bashing going on all around me, because I have done my homework and I see that he is an honest man who is doing his best and has the right ideas. I do also resent that there are so many stupid people who want to undermine our leadership in a terribly dangerous time of war which weakens our position and makes all the other countries laugh at us. And, I don't believe in blindly following a trend that hates one candidate or loves another just to be popular not really understanding all there is to it. So, before you vote, please study all of the issues in depth and know what your candidate really stands for, and don't listen to partisan propaganda to form your opinions.Poeple say: If you don't vote, you can't complain about the outcome. I think this is only half true. Thoughts?
Further more, if you don't care about voting at all, or take your sweet time learning what you need to know to vote, I think it's THOSE people who have no business complaining. NOT those who REALLY ARE making sure they vote right.

I think most of you who call everyone who wasn't ready to vote yet lazy and voiceless I suspect are mostly poeple who make hasty or ignorant decisions when voting but don't want to admit it, for fear of being called lazy and ignored.

I think that only intelligent people should vote. If you are confused with your ballot, DON';T CAST YOUR VOTE UNTIL YOU FIGURE IT OUT!

When people do not vote, we as a country suffer for having a more corrupt person in office.

you seem to be approaching this from 2 points

    '; If you don't vote, you can't complain about the outcome'; and '; it's worse to vote ignorantly than to not vote at all.';

I also DON'T believe you should vote if there is no thinking behind it, but I DO believe if you didn't vote, you have no right to complain.

If you have done enough thinking to be able to complain, then obviously you had enough of an opinion (right or wrong)to cast a ballot.

And if either of the parties up for election aren't acceptable, then go in , take the ballot and then immediatley return it blank.

Its now a spoiled ballot, and shows the candidates that some people took the time to vote but thought neither of the candidates was deserving
Ignorant voters are worse than non-voters. It's ignorant voters who end up getting stupid laws passed. Don't vote stupid! But I still believe if you don't vote, you don't get to complain. It was after all a decision that the non-voter was given a chance to vote on but didn't because of laziness, apathy, or whatever. If the non-voter was still gathering info, I guess that falls under the laziness category. Sample ballots are available on the net for many areas weeks ahead of time.
well if you dont vote you cant complain. and if you vote ignorantly you cant complain either. plain and simple. the only people who have a right to whine are the people who voted intelligently and then the person for whom they votedfor decides to chenge thier stance on an issue.
who ever is voting should think about it before they vote. but if one does not vote at all he or she can not complain about the outcome because his or her voice is not heard.
Well I think your wrong to a point,a lot of men and women laid down there lives so you could have the right to vote, but as far as ignorant people voting, well in my opinion the last election was just that and the ignorant people got what they wanted,if only they would look at the facts before they went into the booth but oh well, thats just my opinion
If people complain about the outcome, then they should have vote. Vote in the next electiuon.
stop and breathe... way too long that's not a question that's a speech
Then, there's the theory that the candidate is lying through his teeth anyway! How many times have we seen a candidate say one thing and do something entirely different?

However, with the internet and google available with just the touch of a few buttons, We can learn a lot about a candidate in just a short time.

It is bizarre how little young people know about politics and candidates, yet the average person under 25 is a bleeding heart liberal. How sad is that! These people should just stay home on election day, at least until they have read up on their candidate of choice. However, most of them don't take the time to learn a thing about the candidate, the issues, the party, or the consequences.

It's really too bad that the brain dead in the US have so much influence over the outcome of an election! I am really uneasy about this new crop of liberals that have gained momentum in this country, today. I saw so much manipulation and negative campaigning amongst this group, that I am convinced, honesty doesn't mean a damn thing amongst the hole gaggle of them. This will reflect in spending, taxes, preferencial treatment, influence peddling and everything that can make democracy, dispicable!
If someone is not voting for one of the two majority of candidates, then their vote is almost literally not even counted. It's certainly not counted in a presidential election, because of the way the electoral college is implemented. And even for Congressional or local races, it's almost impossible to get an independent into office in most states unless that person is an incumbent (see Joe Lieberman).

So, there are tens of thousands of people who don't vote because it would be a complete waste of their time. Their vote is not counted. Trying to also deny them their voice, so they can't even influence other people, effectively disenfranchises them totally from the process, just because they are in the minority.
I don't like the expression. if you don't vote, you certainly can complain. In the USA you have the absolute right to complain. However, I also have the right to ignore the complaints of those who don't vote.
Sometimes you vote for the lesser of two evils, but you vote.
You are correct and I think that if you are so ignorant not to know the issues and to have done you reasearch, then no, you don't need to vote and neither do you have the right to complain since you (being the person who is ignorant, not you as in the person asking this question) does not take the time to obtain the knowladge required to make a sensible descision.
I agree that an informed decision is the best path and the best vote. But couldn't you go to the polling site and pull the lever without voting for any candidate. It shows that you participated. The same goes that if you like a candidate and they're registered under two or three parties, you can vote for them under your favored party and that looks favorable to them.

Like if I liked the Libertarians, I might vote for the Democrat or Republican candidate under that name.

    Good thoughts asker!

Is it true that if think hard we can change the outcome of a coin toss?

No. However, the way the mind works, you will give more weight/credence to events that seem to fit a pattern, so if you try hard enough for long enough, you will actually delude yourself into thinking you can influence the coin-toss by mind power. Is it true that if think hard we can change the outcome of a coin toss?
No. First off, to change the outcome of a coin toss you'd have to know what the original outcome was going to be. Secondly the toss is based on the equality of weight between both sides of the coin.

What is true is that if you think hard enough about wanting a certain outcome that it's possible that you'll remember those coin tosses more than if you didn't get your way, meaning that you remember the side of the coin you wanted to come up more often than the side of the coin you didn't want.Is it true that if think hard we can change the outcome of a coin toss?
Yes. About half of the time.
According to the law of probability, your chances are 50-50.

However it is possible only when ..........

1- similar force is applied every time a coin is tossed,

2- climatic conditions like air flow, is same,

3- the angle from which the coin is tossed, remains the same,

4- the coin is tossed with the same side down or up, every time.

Since this is possible only in ideal conditions as mentioned above, you can have the result as desired by you.
    nope
No, the coin drops on one side or the other independent of how much you would like to control it. What you can change is the resulting behavior based on which side of the coin lands up. We do not have to accept the fate of a coin toss if we are willing to gain a different result.
    nope.unless you dabble with blackmagic..eeeerie
No. That's like saying if you think hard enough, you can make objects fly around.
we can preview it but not change it
No, but some people can toss a coin so that it comes up the way they want it to; they can't predict other people's tosses, though. There is a long standing prize of $1,000,000 for anyone who can prove any ESP abilities; many have tried, all have failed. Feelin lucky?
of course not. the law of probability states that the probability a coin outcome is is 1/2 for both heads and tails. no doubt about that. you cant seriously think a psychic power you have can change the coin toss!

I need true dating but I've tries online with zero outcome, can I get true love?

If any lady interesting in dating, e-mail me!!!I need true dating but I've tries online with zero outcome, can I get true love?
I think that number one, the internet is a stupid place for dating someone or finding someone. You have to be patient and the right one will just come along. Dont expect to find the one on the net, Trust me.. I dated a guy that I met over yahoo msnger for like 3 years and he was a total *** and a mistake, NOT GOOD! There was things I didnt even know about him that he could hide from me for a long time and I probably wouldnt have ever found out! You dont really get to know the person when you meet them on the net.. they can be fake really easy! Id say that half the ppl that answer these questions on here are fake just to get points but you can only trust a selected few. But anyways dont net date... K!? Later and GOOD LUCKI need true dating but I've tries online with zero outcome, can I get true love?

What is the outcome of mitosis. which is not true about mitosis?

Mitosis is the second stage of the cell cycle. Mitosis is the stage during which the cell's nucleus divides in to two new nuclei. Hope that answers your questionWhat is the outcome of mitosis. which is not true about mitosis?
Mitosis is a process that takes place when your cells are being replaced because they are old or worn out.

I always remembered this because I translated mitosis to, my toe stinks.. Don't ask this is how I remember stuff on last minute tests back in the good ol' days. What is the outcome of mitosis. which is not true about mitosis?
The main product of mitosis is that you end up with daughter cells that contain the same amount of chromosomes as the parent cell. For example if the parent cell had 2n (diploid) chromosomes the daughter cells would be the diploid as well.
the outcome of mitosis is two new ';daughter cells'; and i dnt get wht u mean about which is not true

One immediate outcome of a battle of Thermopylae was that Athens and Sparta finally united? true of false?

They were united for a very short time during the Greek/Persian wars, but once the war was over they went back to being enemies. Not long after was the Peloponnesian War in which Athens and Sparta fought, with Sparta victorious in the end.

Edit: This is a bit of a trick question, because of the wording. They were in that ';immediate'; time allies. But saying they were ';finally united'; is a poor choice of words since they were never exactly friendly with each other and only bonded based on the fact that ';the enemy of my enemy is my friend';, they didn't have anything uniting them except for their hatred of Persia. So may actually mark true instead of false. Sorry for the confusion.

  • As A Proud Russian I Say That Even Though Rocky 4 Was Based On A True Story The Film Lies About The Outcome?

Drago was the winner in real life. He sent the white American champion to the hospital and he killed the former black champion.

Why did you Americans change the ending? For propaganda purposes?

    Shame on you.

No training montage could have enabled Rocky to bead Drago- he was Soviet perfection. As A Proud Russian I Say That Even Though Rocky 4 Was Based On A True Story The Film Lies About The Outcome?
even though Drago's punches (2000 psi) were more powerful than an average handgun, Rocky simply had to win. the american spirit, and the emotional response to Apollo Creed's death made rocky nearly invincible. plus, it is a scientific impossiblity for Rocky to lose when the heroic plays all lead to his victory over the powerful Russian.

that montage didn't hurt either. As A Proud Russian I Say That Even Though Rocky 4 Was Based On A True Story The Film Lies About The Outcome?
does it really matter? Probably not. We are not at war, hot or cold war with russia. That ended in 1989 if i'm not mistaken in my memory. I was there.
What American fighter? Rocky 4 was written by Sylvester Stallone and is completely made up. Made up Soviet Lies, shame on you for believing them.
Movies are made taking into consideration, the bottom line ie.the profit. What ever people like is the main base while selecting the story.Nothing to be angry about fictions.
So was Star Wars you don't see anyone complaining about that !
I think it was a statement against steriod use. Love Rocky films !

Spiritually is the outcome of the awareness of our inner-self. True or false/ Why/?

Spiritually does not necessarily come from religious belief.? Spiritually is the outcome of the awareness of our inner-self. True or false/ Why/?
G A person who understands the truth can deduce the laws of the world just by observing a blade of grass bend in the wind. It is not necessary to feel the wind on your face to know that it is there.Spiritually is the outcome of the awareness of our inner-self. True or false/ Why/?
'Spiritual experiences', the sense of feeling at one with the universe, of being in the presence of a higher power etc, have been linked to disorders of the temporal and parietal lobes, particularly temporal lobe epilepsy. Individuals with temporal lobe epilepsy tend to display extreme forms of spirituality and report having intense spiritual experiences during epileptic episodes as well as exhibiting increased sensitivity to religious and spiritualistic stimuli between episodes. There's also a correlation between the size of the temporal lobes and the degree of spirituality which a person exhibits, with spirituality increasing as the size of the temporal lobes decreases.

Further, by artificially stimulating the temporal lobes with induced electrical currents, spiritual experiences can be recreated under controlled conditions in the lab, with naturally spiritual people being more susceptible to this stimulation that naturally skeptical people. Spiritual experiences can also be induced by the use of hallucinogens such as LSD, which are well known for producing such an effect. While these observations don't invalidate the hypothesis that spirituality is the outcome of the awareness of an inner-self, it points to a more mundane neurological explanation as being more likely.
Spiritually is the outcome of the awareness of our inner-self. True or false/ Why/?

True, I suppose. But not the best definition, I think. To me, spirituality is the expressions of the spirit. I think that definition is better because it places the spirit as being the 'what came from within' as being the actor.

Spiritually does not necessarily come from religious belief.?

I have many spiritual experiences before I became Christian. I would agree with what you said.
I believe you mean spirituality. I think it's the outcome of one of our needs, which is to believe something. We all believe something, whether we're religious or not. Believing is a need such as many others we have - like eating, sleeping or breathing - but, unlike the others,it's not a tangible one. We all have a hierarchy of needs, the physical ones being the first. Then come the emotions and spiritual fulfillment. Therefore I think it's a need, not an outcome of something - an outcome of our need to believe maybe.
    Yes I agree.

I myself had spiritual experiences of various kinds from a young age, but I could tell that no-one in any church knew anything about these experiences. So having spiritual experiences turned me *away* from religion. In fact some people who have such experiences are turned away from churches or even insulted and punished.

I'm so glad you asked this question, because it is something not everyone can understand. Nowadays I really don't mind if people have a religion or not - but I do not.

I work harder at spiritual things than most religious people - two hours every day, seven days a week, meditation, spiritual exercises, even incense and herbs, and of course self-examination to improve my character. I also learned ancient Greek and Latin so I could read certain spiritual documents in their original language.

But I have *no religion whatsoever*. It's not necessary for me, and furthermore, in this day and age I want to make the statement by the way I live that all religions come from something very holy, and all are worthwhile. So I will not choose one over another.

    Thanks for your question!
    Que passa Hector ?

Well...You finally have a decent question (not to say that the others were not ';decent';), but this one I can identify with, because I am a very spiritual individual (yet not ';religious';) - So - I totally agree with you that spirituality comes from within and yes, it's being aware of one's inner self ! And: No, it does not come from any religious belief, honey !

Sending you all my best wishes and all my love..your friend...Annette*
    Greetings.

    Good question.

The statement is false as this is only a bate to attract people to various paganistic practices.

There is nothing mystical or hidden about understanding urself.

The only thing worthy of comparing humans is the ';Cleanliness'; of the soul; how good is someone. (Propet Mohammed)
True to me. My spirituality has grown the better I have come to know and love myself; and because of that my faith in my God has grown immensely in the past ten years.

    Religion is for those trying to get to heaven;

whereas Spirituality is for those who have been in Hell.
True faith in YHVH says that He saves you so you can be good. (Salvation preceeds works). All other faiths (including the Catholic) say that you do good works in order to merit salvation. True faith is the awareness of the goodness of YAHOSHUA the Savior.
Buddhists are not religious, but are spiritual. They are spiritual atheists.
Guess its true no matter what the outcome is....It could be a false realized outcome which would be false but the realization is true or a true realization which can only be true...So the answer is true either way.
True, as religions or beliefs or even churches are not necessary to find the way to the innermost being.
    absolutely right.

You must your own thought, feeling, mind and soul to be spiritual.

However you should learn and explore from the other to speed up your spiritual findings.

Is it true that when downloading from torrents that your name goes on a clipboard. If so what's the outcome.

I would like to know that if someone downloads from the torrents, if there name will go on a clipboard somewhere. If so who keeps track of this clipboard and what's the penalty if your discovered. If someone uses the torrent client bitlord, are they safe from being discovered. Does bitlord hide one's IP address while dowloading from these torrents keeping them safe from being discovered. Is it true that when downloading from torrents that your name goes on a clipboard. If so what's the outcome.
    You are very traceable.

No software can actually hide your IP. Even Tor is fairly easy to trace if you understand the limitations of the protocols.

    Nobody cares.

Look at the number of RIAA cases... then look at how many people are downloading. You're more likely to get hit by a drunk driver while you are going out to buy more blank DVDs than you are to get sued.

Is that true, for people with schizoprenia and better IQ, they have better outcome?

Yes, that's actually true of most psychological disorders. Higher IQ = better functioning.

However, we usually see that individuals with schizophrenia show lower IQ scores as the illness progresses in those with chronic symptoms. Schizophrenia is associated with a number of cognitive difficulties. Most don't have a very high IQ. The exception is those with only or primarily paranoid symptoms (delusions and hallucinations) and don't have negative and disorganization symptoms. These individuals usually show a more episodic course, do better cognitively, and have a more favorable prognosis. Is that true, for people with schizoprenia and better IQ, they have better outcome?
Well my bio mom has schizophrenia she has a high IQ but i will tell you she has no common sense what so ever..... so yea i am adopted and this is what everyone tells me (i got taken away from her when i was 2 due to abuse and my mom being alchoholic and substance abuse)

Is it true that negative thinking=negative outcome?

is that true? can your thinking affect the outcome? and turn the outcome of which you don't desire? Is it true that negative thinking=negative outcome?
Yeah! The state of mind you're in will affect the process of achieving a certain outcome. Disbelief in oneself will lead to less effort and thus a not so great outcome. So negativity affects the process of getting to the outcome.

I need a true story or outcome?

  • Is it true the longer the wait for a byopsie result the better the outcome?

was wondering guys can you help thanks xxxIs it true the longer the wait for a byopsie result the better the outcome?
in reading biopsy specimens, two or three pathologists must agree on the diagnosis before an official result is released. a difficult specimen would take awhile. the long wait does not mean a worse or better outcome. it may mean a more accurate reading.

sometimes the pathology lab is just too swamped. Is it true the longer the wait for a byopsie result the better the outcome?
The sooner it's done the better! Medical systems seem to be pushed to the limit these days and priorities are very much in the wrong order!
It depends on the lab, the busy schedule they have, how they do their business.
No. It really depends on how swamped the lab is and what priority your test is.
no...it depends on the efficiency of the lab

I have 3some mfm fantasy. Do other women have these and make them come true? What was the outcome?

I am heterosexual female, happily married and I feel strongly about making this fantasy come true and would prefer it included my hubby. And also a close friend.

If other women out there made their fantasy come true... how did it work out?I have 3some mfm fantasy. Do other women have these and make them come true? What was the outcome?
We have done it more than once and will continue to do so.

    It's RECREATIONAL sex, that's ALL.

We have our fun and we go home, or send the other party home.

Nice to get all this wonderful advice from people who have NEVER had a 3some, or 4 some or whatever. Don't confuse a physical act with one that is an emotion.

I will say it is not for everyone. You damn well better be VERY secure in your marriage.

BTW, we have been happily married for 21+ years and swinging for the past 9. It all started with a fantasy.I have 3some mfm fantasy. Do other women have these and make them come true? What was the outcome?
Haven't done it...wouldn't do it though. Have you considered everything involved in making this come true? Aside from the sex there's ';afterwards';.

If you love your husband and he loves you, you shouldn't want to share any part of one another with someone else.

Fantasy is one thing...it's fine, normal and healthy. You make a fantasy a reality and you're opening up a ';new can of worms';.
I have a hunch it would screw up just about any marriage. It's a great fantasy, though...are there any other outlets you can use to explore this fantasy other than trying it for real? It can be role played, you could write a story, your hubby could buy a toy to be the third, whatever....something that doesn't ruin the marriage.
    Fun at the moment

Screwed up a marriage that was already doomed

But would surely NEVER do it again.....the truth of the matter is:

If he loved me, he would have never let it happen and I would have not gone that far being the married one as well. (VOWS OBVIOUSLY MEANT NOTHING to either of us!)

It's taken me a long time to grow up and that was during my wild and STUPID DAYS!

It sucks in the end, but it was an awesome experience at the time!!
guess every body had the fantasy of 3 some or 4 some even, but not many had real 3 some.

i know some friends who did it in real and still enjoying doing it. if hubby up to it then go for it, but keep in mind that he may ask for another woman, will you accept it.
Fantasy is one thing, reality is another. Ive known several couples that have done it. All of them regret it deeply. If you're so happilly married, why do you need someone else?
If your husband is up for it, then find a third party and have fun. You only live for a short time, so you might as well enjoy it.

I've always wanted to have a threesome with my wife and another woman. That will never happen - LOL!!

I would love to share sexual fantasies with you offline if your ever game. I promise I'm a decent guy. A little online flirting never hurt anyone.

Is it true if you wait a few years the outcome of a baby's sex will be different?

I have heard allot that is you wait a few years ( in my case 6 years) i had a boy ( and only boys usually run in both my husband and my family that it could increase the chances of a change in the babies gender? I am wondering is this true or a tale. If this is happed to someone please let me knowIs it true if you wait a few years the outcome of a baby's sex will be different?
Well, My sister looked at a Chinese Gander Calendar, and when she conceived my 2 nephews, was when she was supposed to have a boy. Same for my mom, 2 boys, 2 girls.

Below is the link to the calendar. Is it true if you wait a few years the outcome of a baby's sex will be different?
there are some science to The shettle method suggests your more likely to conceive a boy if you have sex as close to ovulation as possible because boy sperm are fast but weak. Girl sperm are slow but strong so in order to conceive a girl you need to have sex a few days before ovulation. I have also read research that if your husbands father has a lot of daughters your husband would have a hirer chance of conceiving a girl because they may produce more female sperm. There's not a lot of research on this but there is some out there. I don't think years will make a difference in gender it will make a difference in the quality of the egg.
Sex of a child has everything to do with genetics and luck. Maybe genetically your husband has stronger male sperm than female and thats why boys are dominent in his family. It has nothing to do with when you have sex or how long you wait between kids. If this HAS happened to someone it would be coincidence not science.
I have no clue what you are talking about so this must be a tale. Your babies gender is determined by the male and whether you have sex today or tomorrow or next month or next year, the babies gender isn't going to be one or the other based on that.
I have never heard of that. Its a 50 50 chance every time it doesn't matter what you do I had 2 boys and than a little girl.
I have a six year old boy and am expecting a girl. But I am pretty sure its a 50/50 chance no matter what. Sperm does not know if you made a child or not so I doubt it matters
it's NOT true at all. there's alwasy the same chance for each gender . waiting is an urban legend.
I doubt it. There is no way to know for sure.

TRUE or FALSE? An experiment consists of spinning a coin 3 times in succession and recording the outcomes,?

Q1. An experiment consists of spinning a coin 3 times in succession and recording the outcomes, i.e. either heads (H)

or tails (T). (For example, one possible outcome could be (tails, heads, heads), which we denote as (T,H,H).)

    A. The sample space S is the set {H,T} .

    B. Consider the event E1 “obtain at least two heads”. Then n (E1) = 4.

    C. If E2 is the event “obtain the same result on all three spins”, then P (E2) = 1/4.

    1. Only A

    2. Only B

    3. Only C

    4. Only A and B

    5. Only B and C

    Another one ....

Q2. Which of the following statements is/are true?

    A. The probability that no spin results in T is greater than the probability that all three spins give the

    same result.

    B. The probability of not obtaining H is the same as the probability of obtaining only T.

    C. If the coin is spun one more time, i.e. if it is spun four times in succession, then there will be 16

    possible outcomes.

    1. Only A

    2. Only B

    3. Only C

    4. Only A and B

    5. Only B and CTRUE or FALSE? An experiment consists of spinning a coin 3 times in succession and recording the outcomes,?
Q1 the sample space is all possible outcomes. In this case it is {TTT,TTH,THH,THT,HHH,HHT,HTT,HTH} A is false.

Look at the sample space for part B. Notice that 4 outcomes contain at least two heads. B is true.

Only 2 of the 8 elements of the sample space have the same result all 3 times. 2/8 = 1/4. C is true.

This would make only B and C the correct choice.

    Q2.

    A. the probability that no spin results in T is 1/8. The probability that all three spins give the same result is 2/8 or 1/4. This is false

    B. not obtaining H would be TTT. This is the same as only obtaining T. True.

    C. There would be two more outcomes (H or T) for each of the 8 possible outcomes. 2 * 8 = 16. True.

Once again, Only B and C is the correct choice.TRUE or FALSE? An experiment consists of spinning a coin 3 times in succession and recording the outcomes,?
    Q1:

A is true, by the definition of a sample space. This reduces the possible answers to ';1. Only A'; or ';4. Only A and B';.

B is true; the four answers are as follows:

    HTH, HHT, THH, HHH

    By process of elimination, this means that the answer must be ';4. Only A and B';

    Q2:

A asks about the probablity of HHH vs the probability of TTT.

Because the probability of H is equal to the probabitity of T, the probability of HHH is equal to the probability of TTT. This means that A is false.

B asks about the probability of not getting H and the probability of getting only T. Not getting H means only getting T, because they are the only possible outcomes to the experiment. Therefore, they are equal and B is true.

C is true; the outcomes are:

    TTTH TTHH HHHT TTTT

    TTHT THHT HHTH HHHH

    THTT HTTH HTHH HTHT

    HTTT THTH THHH HHTT

B and C are true; the answer is 5

Is it true that we can influence the outcome of double slit experiment with subatomic particles?

i think i understand what you are asking - it's about trying to figure out how particles can also be waves.

in a diffraction experiment, effectively the waves are going through all slits and interfering afterwards. if the individual particles are measured, then of course the particle can only go through one slit.

one example of an attempt to subvert this was by by using radioactive particles. in principle, measuring the radiactive decay of the particle in flight tells you what slit the particle went through - is there still an interference pattern?

i remember reading about this experiment a few years ago but i am havign a hard time finding the link. if i find it i will edit this post... cheersIs it true that we can influence the outcome of double slit experiment with subatomic particles?
I'm not sure what you mean by ';influence the outcome';. The double slit experiment can be done with subatomic particles, and you should get proportionally the same results. It can be done with photons, electrons, protons, etc.

    A. Zeilinger did it with fullerens (60-, 70- atoms), and W. Ketterle interfered two condensates (10^5-10^6) of rubidium atoms.

But it does take different equipment for each type of particle, because the particles have different wavelengths.

True or false, as long as money determines election outcomes it is not a democracy?

true or falseTrue or false, as long as money determines election outcomes it is not a democracy?
What proof do you have that elections are determined by money? Or is this something you have just heard people say repeatedly?True or false, as long as money determines election outcomes it is not a democracy?
True true true. However, the public will forever continue to live under a facade of belief that democracy is based on votes/opinions alone.
    true
Republicans outspent democrats and they LOST.
true if it comes down to money

look at what happened to get bush in office

    they bought the votes
It's only a democracy on paper. We actually are a republic. Money has no bearing although I don't deny that it is used to steer elections.
False. As long as the citizenry continiue to elect pseudo-representatives, and the will of the majority is ignored, the United States will continue to be a pseudo-democracy at best. I call it the Americanized version of democracy: where the minority rich and elite govern the majority working class and poor. With the dual party lie, the complacency of the formerly-free US media, the USG has usurped the Constitution and run things as if this country were their personal piggy bank.
    True.
Well, if money spent was the only deciding factor, the Democrats wouldn't have won so many seats in this last election; the Republicans consistantly spent more money in almost every race.

I won't say it's not a factor; you can get your message out much easier if you have more cash, but the message matters, too.
    True, if money determines it.

But if you say the US, its a little bit of both.

Of course you need lots of money to run, but its not ALWAYS the one who spends the most wins.

This election proved it....The Republicans spent much more in several states, ie NJ, PA, WV, and still lost.
We aren't a democracy anyway! We are a Representative Republic!! DUH!!!

If we were a Democracy Bush would never have had a seat in the white house since he lost the popular vote in the 2000 election!

Our forefathers did not want a democracy! They wanted to protect the minority from the majority!
True - and the money corrpution is rampant on BOTH sides of the aisle. I can't stand to see partisan whining about how bad the other side is - neither party has a corner on the market when it comes to greed and stupidity.

Sin exaggerates the pleasures of sin while minimizing the true nature and outcome of sin?

Sin is pleasurable for a season...

    Heb 11:25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;

But never tells you it's outcome....

Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.Sin exaggerates the pleasures of sin while minimizing the true nature and outcome of sin?
The self-hatred of the addict following the action of self-indulgence, however, is different from the prickings of conscience just described. It is a horror that numbs and petrifies, rather than remorse that goads to repentance. Self-hatred serves to cement the compulsive cycle in place, rather than to free the victim from it. Victims and their loved ones who view this stage on the compulsive cycle as the guilt that will ensure that the addict ';never does it again'; are mistaken. Their well-meaning intentions to improve the preventative efficacy of guilt by dwelling on and exacerbating the feelings of self-hatred actually contribute to the problem. These feelings are a part of the compulsive cycle. They perpetuate the addiction. It is therefore very important that both behavioral addicts and those who wish to help them learn to identify these feelings and to distinguish them from the righteous guilt that should follow a misguided or destructive action.

In contrast, the soul-shrinking that occurs in the absence or withdrawal of light inevitably has to do with the heart's definition of life: love, and with love, joy and peace. It was John who recognized, as have few in history, that to hate is to be in darkness, and that conversely to love is to walk in the light (see 1 Jn. 2:10-11). ';Your minds in times past have been darkened, because of ... vanity and unbelief';. And vanity and unbelief are both ways of cutting ourselves from love, even from enlightened love of ourselves. The resulting condemnation is diminution of light, which blinds and numbs our capacities for the calm excitement of inspired love, the relish of joy, and the serenity of inner peace. We become, as Nephi told his brothers, ';past feeling';, and ';the love of the Father shall not continue with [us]';. This, as the scripture earlier says, is the equivalent of ';walking in darkness at noonday';, or, more technically, walking in noonday light, but afflicted with a darkness ';that comprehendeth it not';. We literally die a little.

Everything is evil that is not motivated by love and approved by reason. Violence may end in murder but it does not begin there. Usually violence begins quietly in a little bickering; then arguments get louder and resentments accumulate. We sometimes develop a self-centeredness that numbs our reason and destroys our love and happiness.Sin exaggerates the pleasures of sin while minimizing the true nature and outcome of sin?
Could you do us a favour and provide us with an empirical definition of the word ';sin';?

Because if you can't (and I'm not going to hold my breath here) then maybe you should re-visit the whole idea...
(Moses) Chose rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasure of sin for a season.'; Hebrews 11:25

According to the Outcome of Studies, Which Do You Think Is True?

What do you think has more bearing on two people developing a long-term relationship? Proximity, or similarity of interests? I already know the answer because I stated this question is based on the outcome of many studies. However, I was I curious to know which one you'd pick.According to the Outcome of Studies, Which Do You Think Is True?
Historically it was based upon propinquity. Today, as a result of transportation, it is more likely based upon interests, i.e., ';love.';According to the Outcome of Studies, Which Do You Think Is True?
If the studies were based on these two things alone, it was a poor study, for the following reasons.

1} Similarity of interests; is not the best bases for forming a long-term relationship, since the dynamics can be many and varied in relationships.

2} Proximity; is hardly a bases for a long-term relationship either, since I could be near too someone at a bus stop, in a certain place at a certain time, et-cetera, et-cetera, but it will not follow that a relationship will develop from this 'nearness, this 'proximity of time and place.'

However, if I have to choice between the two, logic says it must be 'proximity,' because one has to be close to someone before they can share any 'similarity of interests,' to begin with.
    ';I know the answer already, but do you???!!!!';

I don't really get your intention. Do you want to discuss the studies' results? Then please state which studies you're talking about. Do you want to just get opinions? Then why say that there is a ';right'; and a ';wrong'; answer....?

KS1982Does the polls reflect the true picture of the election outcome in November?
It's impossible to say. First, the polls are being taken NOW, and public opinion changes.

Secondly, it's hard to say which of the pollsters, if any, are able to accurately predict which potential voters will actually vote, and whether they will vote as they tell the pollsters they will.

Finally, it depends on what you consider the ';true picture of the outcome'; to be. Do you mean the official tally, or how people actually voted?

For instance, if, AGAIN, the Republicans program paperless voting machines to vote for McCain, thenwhat becomes the official tally will NOT reflect how voters actually voted.

It's also impossible to know whether the Republicans will again succeed in preventing many thousands or tens of thousands of Democrats from voting (as they have in the last two elections).

In general, polls hve done really well in predicting how people actually vote, within the margin of error (and Obama is currently ahead beyond that amount). However, things have been changing.

There's been a huge surge in young voter registrations, and young people are least likely to be contacted on landline phones (which is what polls use). So pollsters have to weight responses to try to take that into account, which involves some guesswork.

All I can say at this point is, I certainly HOPE so!

Obama 08 (and give him a Democratic Congress, too!)Does the polls reflect the true picture of the election outcome in November?

If the democrats block pulling out all the crooked votes then yes the democrats will have a win by default but it doesn';t matter to them a win is a win no matter what they have to do to get it. Go get the democrats i love to watch fights which there will be all the time because they can';t even get along with themselves. Polosi';s big mouth will always get them going. I love a circus.
Polls are fickle and the questions are twisted by certain pollsters to get certain results. I just wish more folks paid attention to the scandle of Acorn:

What makes ACORN particularly embarrassing for Obama is that he used to be one of them. He served as general counsel for ACORN in Illinois, channeled millions to the organization from the Chicago Annenberg Challenge (whose funds he distributed) and has lately spent $800,000 of his campaign money to subsidize the group鈥檚 activities. For this emolument, ACORN has registered voters 15 times over, canvassed the graveyards for votes and prepared to commit electoral fraud on a massive scale.
nope... have you ever been polled? do you know anyone who has been polled? See funny thing is most democrat like to fuss and whine about everything but when it comes time to vote - they stay at home to lazy to vote and then say ';My vote doesn't count anyways'; and I do believe the polls have been wrong almost most of the time.

    See you on the 4th!
I believe so. The polls are much more sophisticated than they used to be. Those dumb Republicans who keep saying the polls don't say anything are just wishful thinking.

Be gone, blind sheep Republicans! Follow the leader right over the cliff into the ocean.
Yes it give the direction most elections will go, especially 3 weeks out from a general election .

HAVE YOU ANY RELATION TO BUFORD

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pvVo1290j鈥?/a>
I think the CBS 14 point Obama lead is real, one reason I think this way is I have a land line telephone and we have been polled several times, my kids have only cell phones and they have never been polled by phone, we are all voting for Obama
Yes. an 8.2 percent lead is very, very strong.

And to those who love to refer to the so called ';Bradley Effect';, that was decades ago, and a local election.

We are talking about the entire country here.
I don't know why, they mostly haven't. Not even mentioning the 2000 and 2004 elections, they had Adlai Stevenson elected when he lost by a landslide. Haven't gotten significantly more accurate since.
    No.

The only way to see a true outcome is tune in on November 4th after the polls have closed and see who the final winner actually is.
Ask me again on Nov. 5th.

But I certainly hope so. Four more years of this rolling railroad wreck that is the Republican party will destroy this country.
Not at all. You read about polls in the newspaper but everyone knows that the media can't be trusted.
no it doesn't , but that sentence reflects the true picture of no child left behind.
It's just a tool to influence other un-educated and uninformed tools in how to vote!
They are within the margin of error. Iowa is a good measuring stick.
No. The race is much closer than polls reflect.
    Nope, Obama/Marxist.
Nope, because 30% are still undecided.
Yes, one Red state after the other turning blue.
    Maybe.

Coin tossing (True nature of random outcomes)?

I tried this question in mathematics, and I got bad answers. Let me try it in gambling.

Dr. Ted Hill, a PhD professor of mathematics used to divide his class in half. Half the class was asked to go home and flip a ';fair'; coin 200 times. They would write on their paper HHTTHHHTT.. depending on if they got heads or tails. The other class was told to write a string of H's and T's randomly. The professor could tell with a high degree of accuracy which papers were faked quickly. How did he do it?

    -------------

I am trying to avoid wildly speculative answer so:

    (1) The coins are ';fair'; so they are not weighted to one side or the other so that they give even odds. Most average coins can be considered to be fair.

    (2) The decision is made relatively quickly. The professor does not have time to add up all the H's and T's on each paper.

    (3) No one is stupid enough to write HTHTHTHTHTHTHT.. 200 times.

    - The answer says a lot about our expectations about gambling.Coin tossing (True nature of random outcomes)?
You are trying to avoid wildly speculative answers, but I will go ahead and make and a** of myself, and speculate wildly.

I think the reason for his high degree of accuracy at figuring out which papers were faked and which were not is because we humans do underestimate the power of randomness. You are entirely correct in stating that no one is going to be stupid enough to write HTHTHTHT... (althought I must say I know some folks who are so unimaginative that they might just do that...**sigh**...I know some REALLY stupid people). However, what I think people might very well underestimate is the consecutive number of times a coin toss will result in either heads or tails. I think a person would say, ';Well, I can imagine a coin landing heads up 5 times in a row, and I can imagine it landing heads up 10 times in a row, but when it comes to 15 times in a row, that stretches my imagination, so the longest string of Hs I will put on my paper is 14.'; The fact of the matter is that if you are doing 200 coin tosses, it is entirely possible that you could have a run of either heads or tails which is much longer than 15. Just because the law of averages dictates that your distribution of heads and tails should be near 50/50 doesn't mean that it's necessarily going to be 50/50 for every single person who does the flipping. I think that our reasoning mind will get fixated on the 50/50 thing, and we will tend to think that a random string of flips cannot exceed a certain number (I chose the number 15 because it seemed reasonable to me) of same results in a row, when in fact the number of consecutive heads or tails results could be very long, and far more than 15.

What I am saying is that the people who did the fake work are much more likely to have smaller ';runs'; of the same flip in their made up list. There will be some limit (and I don't know what that limit is--for me it appears to be 15) to what they can imagine as a ';long string'; of the same consecutive flips. The reality is that if you are doing 200 flips, you may have a string of the same flip which is so long that no one would ever imagine it to be possible, and thus would never include it in a made up record of flips.

    Does that make any sense?

I think the same thing happens when we gamble. I have heard people say, ';I must surely hit the jackpot on this slot machine soon, because I have pulled the lever almost 100 times, and the casino advertises a 98% payout rate on their slots.'; Yes, that advertised payout rate does mean that at some point the machine is going to pay out 98% of what was paid into it, but it doesn't mean that it's going to happen once you pull the lever the 100th time. Our brains just automatically think 98% and 100% are related in a very linear fashion, when they are not. The reality is that that 98% payout can take days and days to be realized. We don't know where exactly 100% lies. Our brain tells us that 100% correlates to 100 pulls of the lever, but that is a fallacy. For all we know, that lever needs to be pulled 673 times for the machine to decide that is 100%, and finally hit a jackpot which pays back 98%.

And therein lies the trap of gambling. We live in a base 10 world, and we don't really understand the nature of random acts. We tend to think of things in increments of 5 or 10. When someone plays poker, they tend to think, ';If I play 100 hands, surely I will win at least 5% of the time, or 5 hands.'; What they don't realize is that because that deck is shuffled before each hand, they have exactly the same odds of winning on every single hand. There is no cumulative effect. I don't know enough about gambling to know off hand what the odds are of a winning hand, but I know that there are all sorts of variables, including what kind of poker you are playing and how many people are at the table. Hell, even someone cutting the deck makes a difference, as each person cuts a deck slightly differently (each person shuffles differently, as well, in a game where manual shuffling takes place, and there is no house dealer, only player dealers). We try to bring order to gambling because we imagine that there must surely be a limit to how random anything in the universe can be. And that's where we fool ourselves. Things can be more random than we imagine.

So there. I went ahead and went out on a limb and made a fool of myself. Did I even manage to address the question? Or where you asking about the best detergent for an automatic dishwasher???Coin tossing (True nature of random outcomes)?
Over the 200 tosses. it can be expected that there will be reasonably close to half heads and tails. The professor is looking for those papers that are close to this.
Actually, the side of the coin with the head on is ever so slightly heavier than the other side, and so all though it will be close, it will land tails up more times than heads.
I think i've heard of this one before. if i recall correctly, the ones that were faked had exactly 100 heads and 100 tails.
In the world of random events there is something called variance that is SOMEHWAT predictable, though anythign can happen, if you play enough trials you will find that most of the time the results will fall within a bracket, as you add more trials the results will aproach and get closer to the mathematical average and fall within a smaller and smaller bracket a very high percentage of the time. Using this as a guide he could isolate papers outide thr bracket specified by a certain lowe probibility of variation and claim that it is very likely papers outside the bracket were faked.

He could never for sure claim that a paper was fake, however, he could be 90% accurate (or some number around there) on claiming papers are fake which may be good enough for grading purposes.

Anything could happen so he could never be 100% sure or 100% accurate, he could approach 100% though.

Another tactic, as suggested above by other posters is that if a paper had exactly a 50% head to tail ratio, it is likely that it was faked since the probibility of landing EXACTLY on the average with that number of trials is very low, howver it does not mean ti will not happen.

Regarldess he will never know for sure, only be able to speculate with a high degree of accuracy, im sure if you broguht up that point when he failed you for your paper, he would immediately pass it since that is probibly what he is tryign to teach anyways.

  • Which of the following statements regarding outcomes of the Six Day War is true (I'll give best answer)?

A Palestinian state was created between Israel and Syria.

Nasser鈥檚 secular government in Egypt gained more influence in the region.

Jordan expanded into Israel by capturing the west bank of the Jordan River.

Israel more than tripled in size, winning territory from Egypt, Syria, and Jordan.Which of the following statements regarding outcomes of the Six Day War is true (I'll give best answer)?
    ...Para #4.

If there are 8 true or false questions, how many possible outcomes are there?

math homework is stumpin' meyy. haha i can't read my own stupid tree diagram! i hate these things :]If there are 8 true or false questions, how many possible outcomes are there?
for each question there are2 outcomes so total -= 2^8 or 256If there are 8 true or false questions, how many possible outcomes are there?
    8! or 8*7*6*5*4*3*2*1

Many people believe that the Crusades were aggressive excursions with only negative outcomes. Is this true?

All 4 of the Crusades, ( not countng the Children's Crusade ), were military operations. The first three played out in the Middle East ending when Salidin took back Jerusalem the in the 9th Century leading short periods of Christian and Templar occupatoin and in the end, yielding to centruies of Ottoman rule. For Europe, it brought about social upheaval - during the 13th c. When Jersulam was lost for the last time, it had a devestating impact on Jews all over Europe.

I am thinking of the Crusades as mostly being about loot.

The 4th Crusade in the 1240s took a wrong turn and became

the instrument of the destruction and looting of Constantinople - mostly at the hands of Venice and the Franks.

I honestly wonder what they achieved beyond a lasting exposure to Middle Eastern trade, culture and intellectual influences. One interesting side effect was the introduction of the Holy Bible written, and many other books in Greek - to lay intellectuals all accross Europe. Many people believe that the Crusades were aggressive excursions with only negative outcomes. Is it true that there are multiple outcomes for actions we undertake every split second in parallel universes?

like in the episode of star trek: the next generation where worf goes through the quantum fissure in his shipIs it true that there are multiple outcomes for actions we undertake every split second in parallel universes?
Well... it is possible, but it is unfalsifiable, so not very scientific. Is it true that there are multiple outcomes for actions we undertake every split second in parallel universes?
This is one theory of quantum physics, but it seems pretty unlikely doesn't it? It is fun to think about, but it just seems pretty doubtful that this is how things work. I think this theory is the kind of thing that people dream up out of pure imagination, and eventually it will be ruled out.

There's so much we don't yet know about subatomic particles, higher dimensions, dark matter, dark energy, etc... It seems likely to me that we'll find a much more rational and believable explanation one of these days.
Ask questions that can be answered!

This is a theory, one of many, that attempts to explain the strange things quantum mechanics predicts.

So there is no way I or anyone can tell you if it is true or not.
